Sibelius shows his big knowledge about the technical issues that a soloist could meet. This movement has parts of intense lyricism alternated to fast parts demanding reckless virtuosity, which brings our teacher to analyze how to get a bigger sound, with special topics about the bridge, as well as how to pass from stormy dynamics to Piano in a very short phrase. Special topics:
1) Colors vs Dynamics when to put in evidence one or the other
2) The perfect Portato
3) How to put accents on Trills
4) Still posture when playing, to achieve a different sound
